Sandra Fine Art
Sandra is a graduate architect who merged into the world of expressionistic painting and plastic media. In addition to her professional experience with major architectural and construction firms in Dade County as Designer and Project Coordinator, she has always maintained a growing portfolio of original artwork with an edge on watercolors and acrylics.
A self-taught artist who was always a painter at heart, her family had to hide watercolors and tempera from her reach when she was a toddler to prevent her excessive creativity from decorating her bedroom walls.
Her approach is simple and direct: Get inspired by color you perceive from nature, let your imagination go, and the painting will flow. Be it a photograph, a sketch, a certain view from a window, that is enough to get her started and complete another vivid image. She draws strength and inspiration from her daughter and family, and the majority of her work includes people.
As a low-key artist who never has promoted herself on a commercial basis, she prefers to keep her work private and give it to family and friends as presents during special occasions in the form of paintings, original greeting cards, decorated cigar and jewelry boxes, and other personalized items. After encouragement from numerous acquaintances, other artists, and professionals, she has decided to offer original and limited editions of her work.
